Princess Aimuan is passionate about people's health and fitness. Not because it is trendy. Because it saved her life.
She lost someone dear to her. The grief broke her. She fell into depression, filled her days with junk food, and struggled to catch her breath because she was overweight. She was not living. She was surviving.
Then running found her.
Step by step, mile by mile, she found her way back. She lost the weight. But more importantly, she found her confidence. Running carried her through some of the darkest moments of her life. It gave her a reason to get up. A reason to keep moving. A reason to believe that tomorrow could be different.
Today, Princess has been working out for over a decade. She has run three marathons on two continents. She has lost count of her half marathons. She trains Hyrox and CrossFit. In 2019, she was crowned the 4th fittest female in Abuja. But those achievements are not her motivation.
Her motivation is simple. She wants to inspire the world to move.
Every year in August, her birthday month, she dedicates her time and effort to bringing people together to run. Not for glory. Not for money. Because she knows what it feels like to be stuck. And she knows what it feels like to break free. She does not ask anyone to do what she has not done herself. She leads. She sweats. She finishes.
Today, she is building Nigeria's most inclusive running community. To share the joy of running. To share the gift of health and fitness. To remind everyone who feels stuck that they are not alone.
That is Princess Aimuan. That is Run With Princess.
